METRO Group Marathon Düsseldorf

May 4th 2008: Big succes at the Düsseldorfer Marathon:

Teams German Speeders with Arne Tilgen, Johannes Helck and Jan Logemann came in place one to three. Arne missed the world record very closely with an average of 26.6 km/h. (All Results).

METRO Group Marathon Düsseldorf (germany)

All of the riders of the team "German Speeders" will take part in the upcoming Marathon in Düsseldorf (Germany) at May 4th. This is the only marathon in europe where unicyclists are officially timed in a seperate category

Jan's goal is to get also the german record in the unlimited class with his 36". At the moment he is the record holder for the standard class (28", 114 mm curbs) with 1h 51min 59sec. Last year Johannes had the second best overall time in the unlimited class with his 36".

Beside this team internal race, the marathon is an excellent chance to train for the race in canada.
